Death And Dying

This is Kelli Frazier. She is a teacher at Pleasant Valley Middle School who is dealing with her second bout of cancer, but this time it's not curable. Her story was very interesting and I enjoyed sitting down and talking with her. I wish I could've gotten a chance to take pictures of her while she was teaching, but I was unable to. I chose to post the first two pictures because I felt like they captured good emotion. She got fairly emotional when explaining to us about her condition and how it isn't curable. I took the first two pics during that time and I feel they captured her feelings pretty well. As we continued to talk to Kelli, she remained positive about the whole situation and told us how she is making the best of it. She explained to us that it has helped her embrace what is truly valuable in her life and that she is always looking up. That being said, I posted the third picture because I feel like it captured that emotion. I like the the third picture because she looks inspired and strong. And if you make the picture bigger there's a nice gleam in her eye that I really like.

  1. I definitely get sadness and strength from these picture shots. I would have been more impressed with shots of her in "mid-sentence" at least. If there were pics of her engaging in dialogue, this would have demonstrated more of her character.
