Death & Dying piece

These pictures were taken while I tagged along as a photographer for an advanced reporting student. They are of Kelly Moody, a man who once owned the Firehouse Gallery, a local art gallery, but who had to close it down when he had to start treatment for brain cancer. I know the top photo has bad window light, but I'm hoping I might be able to salvage that shot by making some adjustments in Photoshop.

  1. I like the top picture the most. You captured him in a moment of thought that makes for an interesting photo. Nice work. Well framed.

  2. Top picture is definitely the winner. Nice light from the window. Nicely exposed.

  3. Hmmm, I knew that the picture was good in regards to his arm position and facial expression, but I honestly thought that I would get negative comments about the light from the window being distracting and too bright.

  5. I like the bottom photo, because of the composition. I also like that it focuses on the drink, not soley the individual.
