White House photographers revolt

Interesting story on the Columbia Journalism Review Web site involving Pete Souza, former Kansan and official White House photographer.

In 2005, the White House News Photographers staged a mini-revolt because the Bush administration was shutting them out of events and instead supplying them with shots from an official photographer. The administration relented.

But it's happening again under Obama, and the official photographer was one of the leaders of the 2005 insurrection.
