Campus Shot

Brandon McMillen, a freshman in education at WSU, lines up for a shot during a game of snooker in the billiards room of the Rhatigan Student Center. Snooker is a game played with the standard pool balls, accompanied by several additional solid red balls. The objective is to first shoot a red ball into the pocket for one point, and then receive the chance at shooting at one of the numbered balls to receive the same number of points as the number assigned to the ball. The red ball does not return to the table, while the numbered ball is placed back onto the table. Once all of the red balls are gone, the players shoot out the remaining numbered balls, and the player with the most points at the end of the game wins. The game can be very time consuming. McMillen visits the RSC two to four times a week to play a number of assorted billiard games.

  2. Nice work, Nicole. And you provide a wonderful example of caption writing for your fellow students. It's got all the important information and goes even further with some information about the game the subject is playing.
