Derby's Tyler Lankford throws a pitch against Newton. Lankford struck out five in five innings, giving up two runs. Newton defeated Derby 4-2 with a rally in the bottom of the sixth.

ReplyDeleteBoth of these photos are great. They are very in-the-moment. I like how you can see the baseball in the air on the second photo.
ReplyDeleteI love this bottom shot because it really captured everything of the moment. The dirt is flying in behind the player sliding and the ball is in mid air about to be caught. I just wish the ump was a little to the right so that he was in view and not behind the player. But other than that, this action shot has everything.
