I was messing around with the features of my camera and came up with this. I like that it captured the shadow on the brick and a little bit of the flame.

I love the effect of the shadows! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteI really really like the color of the candle and how much it came out in the photo. It interests me because the bricks behind it are also a tint of red, but the candle stands out.
ReplyDeleteI agree about the shadows. Contrast is my favorite element in photography and this puts a different spin on it than I'm used to!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if this is the camera's flash that is casting that shadow. If so, I wonder what it would look like with the flash turned off. One thing's for sure, I bet the flame would stand out a lot more. In this picture, the brightest spot isn't the flame but rather the glare/reflection on the candle itself.
