I actually really like the black and white. I think it really draws on the cold feeling of the photo.
I agree that it gives it a much colder feeling in black and white. I'm also very impressed/surprised you caught the exhaust!
I really like how you caught the exhaust and I also think that the black and white was good because color would have taken away from what you were trying to catch.
