Bravo. I've found myself looking at this picture quite a long time. Forgive me if I'm reading too much into this, but this picture has the makings of something very interesting, something almost approaching "social comment". It's a picture of subtle contrasts, the most obvious of which is labor vs leisure. The can collector gets around on a bicycle whereas the golfers are using electric carts. The can collector is wearing dark, heavy, muted colors whereas the golfers all wear light and bright colors. All of the golfers' backs face the man. What's most haunting to me is that the can collector doesn't seem to be paying any attention to what he's doing, but rather looking over at the golfers as they play.
