This was a photo I took of two people I saw out during a Thursday evening. I chose this photo because it was centered and I felt like the girls "popped" out of the photo.
This is one of the many photos I took of my friend, Olivia. I felt that this is one of the better ones because of the centering and angle.
Wondering if there's a way to capture the top two people's personalities without having them look straight at the camera. The picture shows that they are close, I guess the trick is to somehow show this closeness and friendship without resorting to "Say Cheese!" tactics. This has happened to me many times at parties I've photographed, people will instinctually pose for me, I'll take the picture just to satisfy them, but then I'll say "You know what, let me get one of you guys interacting with one another, like you were doing before I showed up."
